Artwork
I work primarily in oils, acrylics, and charcoal, drawing inspiration from natural forms and the human body. Much of my work centers on mood, movement, light and body lines. I’ve always been inspired. by Impressionist-era paintings but my work itself takes on a slightly more controlled style.
Photography
Photography is a more experimental medium for me. It’s not something that comes naturally to me but I enjoy seeing how creativity and personal style can transfer from medium to medium. As with my artwork, I’m drawn to silhouettes and calm, everyday moments. Light and emotion both play a role in what and how I photograph.
